Dinner Cruise

Loved the stories told by the guide and then the music/light show. I do, however, believe the title of the program should be dinner and cruise. Dinner was not on the boat.

None . It was not what I expected. It was boring narration. Could use color lighting. More music would be useful too .

Really nice boat ride, great guide and spectacular views. The tour lasts about two hours total, no restroom access. So plan accordingly.

I generally try not to write negative reviews. I do sort of think if you don’t have something nice to say better to not say anything at all but I think the way this is advertised is really misleading. It is not a sound light and story show. It is one light cast upon the beautiful rocks in no way interesting over the course of an hour plus. What’s more is you had just traveled up the river and seen all those rocks so the redundancy seems silly. It feels to me like there is so much potential in the show that’s being missed. I would guess it hasn’t been updated since it began 50 years ago. Also I found it heavy handed with morality and Christianity which I am for both but not during an entertainment show on vacation. The meandering Way in which the stories of Moab were told were hard to follow and uninteresting. I can’t understand why more voices weren’t used, why images of the stories they were telling we’re not projected onto the rocks, why a variety of different lights were not used. Again I feel like there’s a really awesome opportunity in what they’re trying to do but the show needs to be completely redone. I will say that the dinner was fantastic and I appreciated the staffs enthusiasm and kindness but it’s not enough to make for a great outing at $90. Also way too long I would cut at least an hour out of the evening. I don’t think that I stand alone with this opinion as when the evening came to an end there was no applause. ✌️

Dinner was great!! The boat trip was good.. hard to get the idea..behind some of the stories and how it related to the lighted rocks.

It was not what I had expected.

I liked the food. I was not pleased with the narration of the show. The audio started with biblical references and came back to them more than once. I found this offensive. In addition, the native peoples were referred to as 'renegades,' again offensive. It was a dialogue geared toward white Christian people and should have been marketed as such. I would not have bought tickets if I had known the dialogue. I was expecting something a bit more science based and was totally disappointed.

This is such a sweet memory for us. Mr. Dee is your tour guide and we hope that he has a lot more tours to give. The light show was nice and the food was good, but Mr Dee is the reason why we would go again and again.

We enjoyed the food, dinner & cruise. As has been stated before, its a little dated, but the light show was better than the reviews say. I appreciate the fact that it is a family run business & that they gave God the credit for the majesty that we saw.
